Thank you Jimmy!!
Faith plants the seed. Hard work waters it. God brings the harvest.
Dreams don’t show the limits of life — they reveal the limits we still believe in.
Venison (deer meat) is one of the leanest red meats on Earth — it typically has about half the fat of beef but more protein per calorie.
👉 100 grams of venison:
That’s why hunters sometimes call it “natural athlete fuel.”
Bonus fun fact:
Wild deer don’t get antibiotics or processed feed, so venison is basically organic by nature.
🏍 How Arizona Bike Week Started
👉 What started as a local ride turned into a full-blown biker destination event.
Arizona Bike Week isn’t a destination — it’s a feeling you ride into where desert freedom meets iron and horsepower.
Catch ya next week!
Choice creates direction
Life isn’t shaped by big moments — it’s shaped by daily decisions.
Small choices repeated = your future.
Choice gives you control
You can’t control:
• circumstances
• other people
• unexpected hardship
But you can control your response.
Choice restores a sense of power.
Choice builds identity
You choose actions, and identity follows.
Motivation comes and goes.
Choice is what shows up when motivation disappears.
Silence
• Mental Reset — clears noise and reduces stress
• Emotional Balance — helps you respond instead of react
• Clarity — you hear your own thoughts and make better decisions
• Creativity Boost — your best ideas come in stillness
• Nervous System Recovery — lowers anxiety and restores energy
• Self-Connection — strengthens intuition and confidence
Silence isn’t isolation — it’s restoration.
*The hardest thing you’ve ever experienced isn’t about comparison — it’s about where your brain and life experience are at that moment.”
❤️ The Big Truth
Hardship feels like the hardest thing because in that season of life, it genuinely is.
Pain isn’t a competition.
Your nervous system isn’t measuring against the world — only against your own story.
And almost everyone eventually realizes:
The hardest thing I survived also taught me what I’m capable of.

Experiencing life with people who've been there
Today’s ride takes us into history—real American history.
Indian Motorcycle is one of the oldest motorcycle brands in the world, built on innovation, grit, and freedom.
And right here in Redlands, that legacy is still alive.
Indian Motorcycles of Redlands isn’t just a dealership—it’s a meeting place for riders who live this life, who’ve been there, done it, and are excited to bring others into the experience.
This is where past meets present, where stories are shared, miles are earned, and the ride keeps rising.
So saddle up—this is about more than bikes. This is about community, legacy, and the shared ride.
State Route -223 also known as Bear Mountain Blvd was the road that took us through the agricultural land that took us up to Taft.
Fun Fact
Taft, California was once known as Moron (and before that, Siding Number Two and Moro). After a fire destroyed much of the early town, the name was changed to Taft in honor of then–President William Howard Taft in 1909. With its rich oil and natural gas resources, Taft quickly boomed as a major oil-producing community.
Every five years in October, Taft celebrates its history and incorporation with a birthday tradition that began in 1930. The first celebration started as a parade and civic luncheon. After World War II, in 1946, the Taft District Chamber of Commerce revived the celebration and made it permanent. A contest was held to name the event, and the winning name was Oildorado—a week-long celebration honoring Taft’s oil production and exploration history.
Oildorado features oilfield-type skill contests such as welding and pipe work, along with community events like beauty pageants where an Oildorado Queen is selected, facial hair contests, talent shows, barbecues, street fairs, and even motocross races (added in 2005).
During the celebration, many people dress in cowboy boots and hats all week. It is traditional for men to grow facial hair—if a man doesn’t, he must buy a permit and wear a bolo tie or lapel pin called a Smooth Puss Badge. If someone is caught clean-shaven without a badge, they may be “arrested” by the Sheriff and Posse, a group dressed in western attire. The Posse carries pistols and rifles loaded with blanks, and the offender may be placed in a jail truck called the Hoosegowand driven around town for all to see. Citizens can even purchase playful “Wanted—Dead or Alive” warrants. Don’t worry though—everything is overseen by the Grand Marshal and is all part of the fun tradition.
The Oasis Bar in Taft was a historic building reportedly dating back to 1910, known during the oil boom era for gambling and entertainment. In later years it operated as a Bar & Grill where locals gathered for food and live music. Unfortunately, it has recently closed permanently, with the business citing California taxes and state demands as part of the reason.
Fun Facts
Kramer Junction, CA, began as a Southern Pacific Railroad stop named for Moritz Kramer in 1882. It later became famous as the “Four Corners” intersection of Highway 58 and U.S. 395, serving as a desert hub for travelers.
Lone Pine, California, is named for a lone pine tree and is renowned for its iconic mountain scenery, including Mount Whitney and the Alabama Hills. The Alabama Hills have been featured in numerous famous Hollywood films, such as “Tremors” (1990), “Iron Man” (2008), and “Gladiator” (2000), among many others.
Jake’s Saloon offers a nostalgic Wild West atmosphere, and following the mining boom of the 1860s, Lone Pine became well-known for its stunning landscapes and its role as a filming location.
