John Davidson, Jesse's father, learned the dreadful news that his son had Duchene's Muscular Dystrophy (DMD), a disease of muscle wasting and affects boys, almost exclusively. During Jesse's life, John dedicated his time and efforts towards raising funds and awareness towards DMD. Now, after Jesse's passing, John at the age of 73, is still going strong with no sign of stopping any time soon. He has written books and now serves to motivate others to achieve their dreams.
