It would take 17 days to find her body and the scene was horrific, she had been brutally murdered. He was finally caught when one of his victims survived and was determined to find her attacker.Fun Fact: The Texas State Penitentiary at Huntsville opened in 1849, one year after the state legislature created the penitentiary system.
