Jessica Ruhlin began her dance training in St. Louis, Missouri, and continued at Interlochen Arts Academy, and earned a BA in Dance Pedagogy from Butler University. She has danced professionally with classical and contemporary ballet companies, and has performed in a wide array of commercial dance including as a backup dancer for Aretha Franklin and comedian Hannibal Buress. She is currently a teaching artist with New York City Ballet.
