On this episode of MFP Live, Donna Ladd and Kimberly Griffin are joined by sociologist and author, Jessie Daniels.
Jessie Daniels' book, “Nice White Ladies,” discusses the role that white women have played in white supremacy, both historically and currently, and the ways they can join in the fight to overcome it. They also discuss ways in which white feminism can serve to undermine the causes of people of color, even when that is not the intent.
Daniels is a professor of sociology, Africana studies, and critical social psychology at Hunter College and The Graduate Center, both affiliates of City University of New York.
