The cross is the culminating point of Jesus' mission. As the rushing together of pure light with total darkness, it reveals Jesus' glory perfectly. He had a life within, that could not be overcome by death without.

As we look upon the cross and live in light of who God is revealed to be in this moment, we will literally be brought out of sin - we will be saved.
