Hey y'all! Welcome back :)

Today we will take a close look into what Jesus Christ says regarding the Law, and all the different variations of its phrasing. We will see Him challenge the Pharisee's traditions and fulfill prophesy time and time again. He even quotes it and teaches from it, but does that mean that it still applies to us today 2,000+ years later?

The words we will look at are:

• Law (nomos)-depending on context means Torah (Genesis-Deuteronomy) OR the entire collection of the Old Testament
• Commandment (entole)- The Commandment of the Mosaic Law
• Scripture (graphe)- The Hebrew Scriptures (The OT)
• It is written (grapho)- Things written in the sacred books of the Old Testament
• Lawful (exesti)- What is publicly appropriate or porper
• Lawlessness (anomia)-The utter disregard for God's law (His written and living Word)

So grab your favorite beverage (mine is coffee), your Bible and a pen, and let's look at what the savior has to say to us today as we learn what it means to Just Live By Faith!
