Matthew 5:17-20

The Sermon on the Mount was Jesus' first recorded sermon and He preached it at the beginning of His ministry on a hill to a mixed crowd of disciples and those who were curious. In that crowd were His disciples, common people, and religious leaders.

Jesus will shock His hearers by stating that He is the fulfillment of the Law and the prophets. We will learn what place the Old Testament Scriptures hold in the Kingdom of God.
