In one of the last scenes in the gospel of John, Jesus is on trial before Pilate.  In his closing remark Pilate says to the one who claimed to be "The Way the Truth and the Life," "What is Truth?"

As we take a closer look at this passage and the implications of truth for our lives, it becomes clear how valuable truth is.  Like a hero on a quest, the search for truth is essential to the fulfillment of our lives.
