Pastor David preaches out of Luke 2:21–24, showing that Jesus begins saving His people from the very start of His life by entering fully into the covenants of God, shedding His first blood in circumcision, and identifying Himself as the true heir and fulfillment of every promise made to Adam, Abraham, Moses, and David. He proclaims that Christ’s entire life, from infancy to the cross and resurrection, is a single, faithful act of covenant obedience given in our place, so that all who are united to Him by faith receive forgiveness, adoption, and new life by grace alone.
