An Encounter Can Change Everything

1: Jesus isn’t condemning

For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him. 18Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already… John 3:17-18a

Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, 2 because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death. Romans 8:1-2

2: Jesus isn’t compromising

Matthew 11:19: He’s a “friend to sinners.”

Hebrews 7:26: He’s “separate from sinners.”

For the LORD God of Israel says

That HE HATES DIVORCE,

For it covers one’s garment with violence…

Malachi 2:16a

3: Jesus is compassionate

“When He saw the crowds, He had compassion on them, because they

were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.” Matthew 9:36

“…whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen

plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.” John 3:21
