7th Sunday of Epiphany

Luke 6:17-26

When we take a moment to actually listen to Christ's own words, we often hear things that conflict with our behavior, and in fact, our beliefs. Today's reading from Luke puts a very clear set of promises and warnings before us. May God give us ears to hear, and hearts to overflow with the mercy He gives us so generously.
