On His way to raise Lazarus from the dead, our Lord takes Martha and Mary aside to minister to them privately in their deep grief over their brother's death. This message is full of application to anyone who has to cope with the death of a loved one. There is no comfort to be found on this earth equal to that which Christ alone can bring in these times. This is especially critical considering that the effort of friends & certain family members can often make you feel worse with words that fall woefully short! In our most painful time of loss there is no replacement for the private, intimate comfort of Jesus through His Holy Spirit, whom he called The Comforter.
