In our study of the gospel of Luke, we're drawing closer to the death and resurrection of Jesus. This week, we see Jesus' trial before Pilate. Pilate, according to the custom of the day, offers the Jews a choice - release Jesus, or release the murderer Barabbas. The people choose Barabbas, and Jesus takes his place on the cross.
