When Adam and Eve sinned in the garden, man's relationship with God became broken and hard to maintain. Man tried to please God with rules and religion, but quickly found out that the law just showed how imperfect and dependent man was compared to God's greatness and holiness. But God had a plan, a plan to send His only Son to earth to take upon Himself what needed to be done in order to restore man's relationship with God.
