When we approach God seeking mercy, grace, assistance, or forgiveness, we can do so with assurance (Hebrews 3:6) and certainty. No one empathizes with our struggles more than Jesus, so He is uniquely qualified to be our High Priest and take our place for the penalty of sin (Hebrews 2:18).
