Join us as we unpack this past week's message with our guest teaching, Bruxy Cavey.
We pose a few questions to Bruxy like:
1) You started us off with the inefficient yet intimate approach God takes. What are your favourite inefficient stories of God (in the bible and in experience) and why?
What is the most compelling thing about the inefficient story God is telling?
2) The inside-out approach for God:
-There is something profound yet simplistic, what does it look like to explore this concept a little bit more?
Often, we interpret it as “oh, God knows my heart.” What are the strengths and weaknesses of that? How do we handle "self-expression"?
3) David’s leadership is both priestly and political. Is there one that actually takes priority? How so? How does this connect to how we organize us as a Church (Hauerwas would say, "the first social task of the church is to be the church”)
4) Tell us a little bit more about the Jesus Collective and where you are seeing God work through that initiative?
