When Jesus took Peter, James, and John up on the mount of transfiguration, much more than Jesus' appearance changed. In a moment of fear, the disciples looked up to find "Jesus himself alone" calling them out of their fear and into peace and comfort. Many of us are or have been overcome by fears of various kinds, and if we can find the courage to look up and for Jesus in our moments of fear we can find freedom from fear, even peace.
