Is Jesus God? That is the question we pose today. There are many opinions and ideas about Jesus and who He is. Some believe that He was a good man and a great teacher, but not God. Some believe that He is a created being, not eternal and simply a nice guy who had good things to say. I love what CS Lewis says about Jesus saying, A man who was merely a man and said the sort of things Jesus said would not be a great moral teacher. He would either be a lunatic — on the level with the man who says he is a poached egg — or else he would be the Devil of Hell. You must make your choice. Either this man was, and is, the Son of God, or else a madman or something worse. So, may we believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that we may have life in His name.
