Jesus Is Greater – The Better Promise (Chapter 8)

Hebrews 8 declares that Jesus is our High Priest in the true heavenly sanctuary, introducing a new covenant built on better promises. Unlike the old covenant, this new one is written on our hearts and brings forgiveness and intimacy with God.

Jesus is the Better Promise because He is:

  • Not second-hand – First-hand
  • Not distant – Personal
  • Not tolerated – Loved & liked
  • Not external – Filled with the Holy Spirit
    • This covenant transforms our relationship with God—personal, loving, and Spirit-filled.
