What's Up, Buddies!
Let's talk about Kanye West (again). By now it is pretty common knowledge that Kanye West is proclaiming Jesus, and who would have guessed (we did) that there would be considerable doubt as to whether his conversion is legitimate? We talk about signs that his conversion is, in fact, legitimate, the album & the songs, and lots of other stuff.
We also want to urge you to pray for Kanye & his walk with the Lord. That he is building his house upon the Rock, and that he will not be shaken. We also would like to point out that immaturity in the faith does not mean unconverted. He probably will say things you disagree with and things that are not exactly in line with the gospel, but it doesn't mean he isn't a transformed sinner saved by Jesus Christ. Anxiety over Kanye West misrepresenting the gospel is a lack of trust that God is Sovereign.
The bottom line is this: Christ is being preached. Thanks be to God.
