According to Joshua 6:26, Jericho was a cursed city with a dark cloud

hanging over it. However, Jesus wasn't afraid to go to messy places. He

knew that within that city there were people who would follow him. As Jesus

was leaving the city, he passed Blind Bartimaeus. Like Bartimaeus, Jesus is

often passing by in our own lives. Bartimaeus didn't allow the crowd or his

past keep him from encountering Jesus. Will we do the same?
