The book we commonly call 'Luke' is really 'The Gospel According to Luke', or, Luke's perfectly accurate rendering of the gospel events from his unique perspective, inspired by the Holy Spirit. Each author had his own background and audience so the gospels vary in which parts of Jesus' life they tell. As we look at these 4 gospels together, we have everything that God wants us to know about Jesus in His Word.
