Couched in the story of Lazarus are Jesus’ most poignant and hopeful words that out of the deepest despair there is found life in him. These words are backed up by the miracle of Lazarus rising from the dead. Jesus has power over death itself. How? By overcoming death on his own. The question to us is whether we will believe.
