The Messiah has come. John the Baptist has identified Him as the One whom the Spirit has descended upon and we are going to learn from John the Baptist, that Jesus is worthy. Not only is Jesus our Savior, but also, He is Lord; and that is something that we as Christians must put ahead of us in every area of our life. When we capture a glimpse of how this bold man of God, John the Baptist, interacts with the knowledge of the Messiah now here, we can also take a leaf out of his book and understand the glory and the worthiness of this Man, Jesus. May we all resound to the praise of His name. May we all capture that glimpse as He increases in our life and we decrease, just as the great prophet, John the Baptist, declared. We thank you Lord Jesus for Your love and we honour and revere Your great name.
