Some think Jesus sucks all the joy out of life with all his commands and rules. In fact, Jesus is the only one who can give us true and lasting joy. Jesus does not demand from us, he graciously gives to us. He gives us joy through all of our earthly blessings, through every spiritual blessing, and the promise of unending joy to come with him in heaven.
