In Luke 19 we see the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem just days before His death on the cross. A point that can be glossed over at this point in the story of salvation is that Jesus knew what was to come. He knew what He was doing, that He was fulfilling 500 year old prophecies, that the people didn't understand what was happing, that He was worthy to be worshipped and ultimately that He was headed to death, but continued on for us.
