The Lord set His unique and eternal affection towards Israel. I believe it is the same love that Jesus declared in Jn. 15:9. Israel can only enter into this through the born-again experience. It is essential that a heart for Israel not be fueled by human sentiment but by us touching the Father’s affection for His Son.
