In Mark 1:16-20, behold the sovereign call of Christ, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.” It is a call not to a mere alteration of occupation, but to a complete forsaking of all that is earthly, that you might be consumed by the eternal purposes of God. Will you, by grace, drop your nets and follow Him, forsaking the fleeting pleasures of this world for the everlasting glory of His kingdom?
