If our greatest need was economic,
God would have sent an economist.
If our greatest need was entertainment,
God would have sent us a comedian
If our greatest need was political stability,
God would have sent us a politician.
If our greatest need was health,
God would have sent us a doctor.
If our greatest need had been information,
God would have sent us an educator.
If our greatest need had been technology,
God would have sent us a scientist.
But he perceived that our greatest need involved
our sin,
our alienation from him,
our profound rebellion,
our death;
and he sent us a Saviour.”
