b. Do you think the mission of the church should have a bias towards the poor?

2. ‘to proclaim release for the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to let the oppressed go free.’

a. Do you think of yourself as either captive, blind or oppressed?

b. To what extent do you feel God cares about you?

c. To what extent do you know that God cares for you?

The good news is that God knows what we are going through and is there for us.

3. Jesus announces God’s grace and justice, the ‘Year of Jubilee’.

a. What kind of God offers total forgiveness?

b. How can Jesus save us from the captivity of sin?

c. What is it to be free from sin?
