[Click here to access Pastor Peter's "Jesus Our Passover" sermon notes.]
In this celebratory Easter message, Pastor Peter invites us to join a "worldwide party" as we recognize Jesus Our Passover, the fulfillment of every divine promise and the leader of a successful global rescue mission. Centered on Christ's exclusive claim to be the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), the sermon explains that the empty tomb is the ultimate proof of His authority and the dawn of a new creation where He stands as the first fruits of the resurrection. We are challenged to move beyond being spectators and instead become "living sermons" who actively participate in the gospel, following the persistent heart of Mary Magdalene and the bold preaching of Peter to share the hope of Christ (Mark 16:15). Finally, as we launch into "Seek Week," we are encouraged to prioritize the kingdom of God (Matthew 6:33) and find the stamina to draw near to the Lord, trusting that the same "gospel road" that led to the first resurrection miracle connects us to His power today.
