A lot of people think that the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke & John) are simply various biographies of Jesus' life. They're all written from different angles, but the basics are pretty much the same:

"Jesus was born to a virgin, grew up, did fantastic things, died tragically, but was resurrected." Now all we have to do is provide the final chapter: Ask Jesus into our hearts so we can go to heaven. Voila.

When we see Jesus through this overly simplified lens we miss out on so much! The depth of these stories is lost on us. The thrilling drama that has been building throughout history is invisible to our eyes. So the beauty and glory of Jesus' redemption remains dim...and let's be honest, sort of humdrum to many believers.

We want you to see Jesus for all He is. And we want you to be touched by Him, changed by Him, and united with Him.
