Think for a minute about the things we are tempted to add to our relationship with Christ. We are so easily sucked into the world’s pursuit of fame, fortune, friendships and feeding the flesh. On top of those things, there’s the daily temptation to add works and will-power to make our spiritual resume more appealing. We know in our hearts that it’s all by faith alone and through Christ alone, but we struggle with our human tendency to help out and add to Christ’s sufficient efforts.

Our hearts know it’s Jesus alone who is worthy of our worship but with our actions, we answer to other masters. The masters of fame, fortune, friendships and feeding the flesh beckon to us. It’s a seductive siren to our hearts, calling us to worship something else alongside our worship of God. How do we recognize the schemes of the enemy who desires to lure us with these worldly pursuits?

As a Christian life coach, my heart is to help you grow in the God-given confidence that comes from knowing who you are in Christ. True confidence isn’t about striving or self-promotion—it’s about humbly submitting to God, trusting His plans, and walking boldly in the identity He’s given you. As you draw near to Him and resist the lies of the enemy, you’ll begin to see transformation not just in how you see yourself, but in how you show up in the world. Together, we’ll uncover what’s holding you back, align your steps with God’s truth, and walk forward in faith—anchored, equipped, and empowered by His Spirit.
