In the book of Revelation John saw a vision of Jesus that made him fall to the ground like a dead man. He saw Jesus with eyes like burning fire, feet like bronze glowing in a furnace and his face brighter than the sun. In his right hand he held seven stars and out of his mouth came a sharp two-edged sword.

Now, imagine if one day you had Johns vision of Jesus! Just as you were about to melt, Jesus asked you this: May I pray for you? Jesus prayer in John 17 is still alive today because Jesus is alive today. Now, our prayer as that this prayer may come alive in those who do not yet know him.
