When opposing groups try to trap Jesus with a political question, Jesus uses it as an opportunity to be clear about one thing; His kingdom and the work He accomplishes does not come in the form of a political kingdom.  As His children we can participate in the earthly systems that we are a part of, but we can not lose sight of the fact that our primary citizenship lies with the Kingdom of God where greater things are accomplished than laws and political policies.
