Jesus Rejects Religion with the woman at the well.

1. By knowing Jesus you are able to know the Father. 

What does this mean?

God is seeking to be in relationship with you, not mindless ritual religion. If you humble yourself to know the Savior, You will be given the Holy Spirit, your dead Spirit will be born again. 

By being given the Holy Spirit you will have faith in Jesus and will become in relationship with God the Father as his child. Through the way of Jesus, and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit you will be in relationship with the Father.  

2. On the inverse without the Messiah, that is the Savior, no amount of religious ritual amounts to anything except vain unrepentant pride.
