One of the biggest mistakes that people make about Christianity is to think that it is a religion. This is true for Christian people as well. It is very easy to make this mistake. A religion is a set of rules that says, if you do these things, God will accept you. That is a textbook religion. We have to work, and God responds to our work either positively or negatively.

But Jesus is Greater Than Religion. Because Jesus says, "God has accepted you, now respond to His love." That is not religion. That is the Gospel! The good news of Jesus Christ. And that is what Paul is trying to explain to churches in Galatia in this weekend's message in Galatians 3:1-14. Paul is saying, "Forget your works. Live your life trusting in Jesus."
