This includes personal benefits of being seen as having succeeded in Jesus. Just as Jesus' body was actually raised from the dead, so too, will the bodies of His beloved be raised from the dead. They will ascend to glory when Christ returns for them. In Jesus, death itself is destroyed forever. And beyond description is the life and glory to which He has called His people. God will live with perfected people forever.
