The ceremonial law given to ancient Israel was fulfilled by Christ and nailed to the cross. They were shadows and have no benefit any longer. In fact when certain religious groups offer animal sacrifices thinking they are efficacious atonement for sin they actually show disrespect and unbelief toward the Lord Jesus Christ who is the lamb of God slain before the foundation of the world.
