We all have deep needs that we look to a myriad of things to fulfill. Jesus’ miracle of feeding the 5,000 shows us how God is more than able to satisfy our needs, but it also challenges us to recognize the difference between our needs and our wants. Jesus invites us into a relationship with Him where we willingly give of ourselves (in spite of our needs) to serve others sacrificially.
