Jesus had just taught his disciples that to be greatest in the kingdom of God meant to be the servant of all. On the days that followed he demonstrated to them by example what that meant. Through his interaction with Bartimaeus and Zacchaeus we can find principles to apply to our lives and celebrater that Jesus sees us.
