Let us pay close attention to the word that was given to us by the Holy Spirit through the writer of Hebrews.

Nothing we have, no gift, no program, no tradition, no resource, nothing is worth anything without the blessed help of the Holy Spirit.

Through the years, centuries and millennia the church stands unmoved as it stands on the Word of God.

Without purpose a life or a church has no meaning. It will drift in the world's current. Our church has a purpose and means by which to achieve it.

Our leaders have always, and hopefully always will, valued the the gifts of God expressed through our congregation.

Our church has a long history of staying out of the political arena. But why?

The Word of God is with us today, the church, its teaching, because someone passed them on to the next generation. We need to do the work to ensure that we continue to pass on those things are important.

Why send missionaries when there is work to do here? Why send missionaries when you just send money?
