The lessons of the Upper Room were coming to a close. Jesus had spoken profound truth to the disciples. Now, he was telling them that they would face some incredible trials in the years ahead. The world would hate them because they loved Christ. Jesus showed his disciples that despite incredible trials, joy and peace could be theirs, for they served the God of the universe.
