Jesus the Wonderful Counselor

In this episode, we reflect on the revelation that Jesus is a wonder both in His person and in His wisdom. From Isaiah 9:6, we see Him not only as the Son given to us and the One upon whose shoulders the government rests, but also as the Wonderful Counselor.

What makes Jesus a Wonderful Counsellor? He knows when to tell you what you need to hear, and He knows how to tell you what you need to hear. He gives the right word for the right season, leads us gently into truth, and withholds nothing that is good while also protecting us from what we are not yet ready to carry.
