JetSetter Hotel Finder for iPad, SuperTooth Disco - iPad365 - iPad App Show [Video]
At the beginning of the show, we address the issue with the heat of the iPad. Apparently, the 3rd Generation iPad has been reported to heat up 10-13 degrees (depending on what you are working on). While this does make the iPad warmer, Apple has said it is still running to spec. We will most likely see iPad cases that counter the heat issue, but I would suggest not just putting a closed cover case on your ipad.
Today, we talk about JetSetter – an app that lets you find higher-end hotels in cities you may be travelling to. You can search on the city, and find a hotel that may suit your need. For example, I searched on Madison, WI and got a really nice hotel in the downtown area. You can read about the hotel, see pictures, and see what others are saying about that place. You can search for events around your hotel, and ultimately book it through the app.
Changing gears, I was talking to someone about an older video I did with the Supertooth Disco. I was really flipping that thing around to show you can have a speaker that can travel with your iPhone (at the time). man, was my beard short…

After talking about it with another, I felt it should be revisited for this show. The Supertooth Disco is a nice speaker bar that gives quality sound. Especially with the iPad, where you only get a mono speaker. If you watch a movie, connect up the Disco to get better sound.
