May has been designated as Jewish Heritage month in Canada and the US. Noting that the Jewish community has made significant contributions to the growth and prosperity of our countries while overcoming tremendous obstacles, the governments also created this month to recognize the important contributions that Jewish have made to their country’s social, economic, political, and cultural fabric.
