The Jewish Broadcasting Group was one of the founding groups at 3ZZZ and broadcasts in Hebrew, Yiddish and English to the over 60,000 members of the Jewish Community in Melbourne. The diverse nature of the Jewish Community is reflected in the programs broadcast and attempts to meet the needs of the new Jewish immigrants from Israel, Eastern Europe, Africa, South America, Asia and many other Countries as well as providing for the elderly and the isolated.

L’Chaim - To Life in English: 9pm to 10pm AEST

With Maurice Klein, Dr George Banky, Jeff Degen and Dr Morry Frenkel

Jewish community focused interview-based program with regular segments including: news from Israel, opinion commentary, preview of next day’s AJN headlines, out-and-about-focus on upcoming community events, and more.

FRIDAY

Shabbat Shalom in Hebrew: 3pm to 4pm AEST

With Ruthie Gilmour, Dr. George Banky, Dr. Rafi Manory, Oudi Lewis, Idit Benjamin and Ofer Zelig.

Hebrew news, current affairs, music, community announcements, thoughts of the week, interviews and talkback.
