227 - JGivens, Hip Hop Artist: His Story of Coming Out

 JGivens, known by many in “Christian rap” circles, sits down with Joey and his wife Pricilla to tell his story of perseverance, personal growth, and a new gained perspective of people, the soul and the world we live in. We hear about his family dynamics, upbringing, his journey coming out as openly gay, surviving addiction, and the love and support received from family and friends. Like many others who have come out as gay, Jeremiah was under the microscope of numerous Christians, many of whom were callously hateful and shallowly judgmental. JGivens, folks; the talented, stunningly creative Hip-Hop emcee, gifts us with sharing his life. By the way, his brilliance isn’t limited to his music; as you’ll hear in this interview, it also radiates through his words. It’s like the dude’s native tongue is poetry.
