Jill Sterkel has had a storied career in the swimming world. Jill competed at the Olympics in 1976 at the age of 15 and was part of the most unpredictable relay victory in swimming history. Going up against the powerhouse East German team, Team USA, on the shoulders of Jill Sterkel beat out the heavy favorite in the 4 x 100 Free Relay for Olympic gold!
